About the Book

These are poems that delve into the human condition. I deal with prejudice, human rights, sexism, homelessness, abuse and mental illness. I also cover sexual orientation and the subject of religion.

My objective is to try to write from an intimate perspective. This writing is meant to engage you the reader and allow your own experience to flow through the poem. At the end of the day we are all not that different. I hope reading these poems will make that more apparent.

Richard Lamoureux is a writer from Kelowna BC Canada. He is the founder of The Inspired Poetry Project and has published over 4000 pieces of poetry. Richard started writing when he was in Grade six. His pieces can be easily understood. His inspiration flows from personal experience and by observing those around him. Whether you are an avid reader of poetry or not, Richards honest and straight forward approach to writing will appeal to you. Take a chance, my prediction is that you will become a fan.
