When 13-year-old James Lite's parents go missing,he feels he should take over his parents adventures, as his parents seemed to have trained him to do. As he is driven by the thought of his parents not being dead, the story starts out in England of 2039, stealing a map from his father's study, giving him a huge advantage to find an artifact erased from history, the Key of Torment.
