Thirty-five years of wisdom gained through tracing the teardrops of my life as it has unfolded. My poems in this collection began when I was seventeen. Oh, I had all the answers back then..so innocent, naive and so confused when my heart broke...the first of several times.
Remember when the tears are falling like rain, your tears are not in vain, for God can hear them and feel your pain. Where do teardrops go?? I see them in the petals of each flower I grow.

I was born and raised in a small town in South Ga. that has now grown to metro status, seems like over-night. But then again I don't feel so old, until I am asked how old my children are, (my oldest being 32, middle 25 and the youngest 23).. All boys thank the Lord, for if I had raised girls they would still not be allowed to date...My life has always been chaotic, and I have learned to hang in there by the seat of my pants, sometimes with them around my ankles other times, hanging by just a mere thread..Spontantious to a T.
