This is the story of how a town's livelihood, sugar, was threatened by a con man. The town was rescued by a very clever detective who happened to be a relative of one of the townspeople.

Elvera M. Rexroth-Reese grew up writing. She started putting words to paper in her first "mystery novelette" in the 8th grade. Since then, there have been numerous poems and childrens' books. In 2008, her first book, "Luminar," was published. Deep down, poetry remains perhaps her favorite venue.
