Fifteen year old Braven Kitos of Atlanta lives in futurisic times, with cool phones and amazing cities. However, the life she lives comes with a cost: Always tell the truth.
With a sudden attack by people known as the Falcons, she wonders if she will ever see her family again and also wonders if she will make it out alive. She and Evan, a guy she meets after trying to escape the Falcons, try to make it to Asher City, where they will hopefully find Braven's family and their friend, Zuna.
