Thomas Farmington is a normal 14 year old boy living an abnormal life, his mother is doctor and his father is a director. While his father is in L.A. working on a new movie and his mother is gone for most of the day, he is left alone with his twin brother Alex and his younger sister Mia. Surprised by the early arrival of his father and their uncle Scotty, they final are able to have a relaxing summer on the beach, until something goes horrible wrong.
