A story that captures the aloha (love) that the Hawaiians are known for. Why did the Naupaka flower split in two? Half growing on the mountains and the other half growing near the ocean. This story has been handed down from generation to generation to keep the lessons alive for us today. I did change the ending from the way I originally heard it. I hope you like it.

About Author
I am Tutu Shae. Tutu means Grandparent in Hawaiin, and although I am not Hawaiian by blood, I am in heart. I grew up as a young girl spending summers in Hawaii with one set of grandparents, and then living on Indian reservations with the other set of grandparents. Both cultures were rich with stories that I look forward to sharing.
