Scott and Katie have been friends for as long as they can remember. But freshman year, things start to change. Katie struggles with her growing feelings of something more for Scott, as he begins to pull away. After extraordinary things start happening to him on the football field, he starts questioning his identity. Meanwhile, three new kids show up at school, placing themselves into both Scott and Katie's love lives, stirring up the pot. These three kids are more than they seem at first, and are tied to Scott's strange abilities and his past.
