Valentine's Day Tragedy introduces Samantha, an 8-year old girl from San Diego.
Samantha develops a phobia as a result of a tramatic event that takes place in her family and unfortunately, Samantha no longer enjoys celebrating Valentine's Day.
Samantha must figure out how to cope with her phobia and adjust to the changes in her life. Samantha shows tremendous courage and is an inspiration to kids who must deal with challenges.

Sofia Avani Moreno is currently in 2nd Grade at The Meadows School.
"Valentine's Day Tragedy" is her first entry into the PBS Kids Writing Contest where her book was recognized as one of the finalists among the 2nd Grade entrants.
Sofia enjoys creating her own stories and her imagination and artistic talent are limitless.
