Redsview Province is one of few communities left in what used to be northern California. Redsview has broken up in two sectors; the Regulars and the Pararegulars. The Pararegulars, born "altered" have genetics that are superior to the Regulars. Pararegulars have been known to have a range of abilities, though family members almost always have similar abilities. But that isn't the case for Haven Foren, her abilities are far superior than most Pararegulars, the "highest ones" see people like Haven as a threat. Her parents knew when Haven was 6 years old that she was different, special, so they protected her. They always have, but when the secret about Haven gets out, who will protect her?
