Gayathri’s poems are remarkable for beautifully expressed emotional, intuitive and intellectual energy. Virginia Blues throbs with her deep-felt passion and portrays a unique cultural blending of East and west. It breaks all conventions of depicting verses and brings out a new way of looking at concepts of life, love, sorrow, victory, failure and death in a philosophical rendering throwing light on paths less travelled. It takes the reader through a journey astral and inward portraying the different ironies of a soul in different shades of words.
