About the Book
"I Want To Be Just Like My Daddy" is an affirming and beautiful story about a little girl who shaves and cuts her hair short like her daddy, rides a boy's bicycle, wears a boy's bathing suit to the lake, and more. Anais' parents listen and allow her the freedom to express herself outwardly(gender expression),while developing an inner sense of self(gender identity). This book offers multiple colorful pages for a child to write and draw one's gender expression and identity story. Proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to buy a book for another child.
