Born January 1, 1984 in Clarksburg General Hospital WV to Douglas Theodore Welker and Regina Dawn "Snooky" Williams Welker. Chad went to school through the Mineral County public education school system. He graduated in 2002 and then joined the Navy in the spring of 2003 and returned home from overseas deployment in 2007. He is now employed as a social worker for United Cerebal Palsy, living in Ridgeley WV.
