About the Book

What’s Gogyoshi? What’s World Gogyoshi?

Concisely speaking, Gogyoshi is a free five-line poem, added a title. It has no syllabic restrictions. World Gogyoshi is a free five-line poem written in both English and mother tongue. We should respect English as a common language in our world and mother tongue as an original language in our country.

Many people have been writing pentastich in ancient Greece, limerick in UK, cinquain in USA and so on as a five-line poem all over the world historically for a long time. But they had different restrictions such as syllables, rhythms and so on. They were not so free.
