My experience as a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, children's church director, youth leader, and tutor for the past forty-five years has left me with a passion to continue to educate children. After retiring I had to find ways outside the classroom. I have discovered a vast number of ways to educate children. Education is not limited to being executed only between four walls of a traditional classroom. Sadly we all have seen a big change in our public school system in the United States. A need for children to get extra help outside the school is vital if they are going to receive adequate time and instruction to learn in their own way.I don't put complete blame on the school system or the government. We as parents, teachers, school board members, and grandparents have stood by with a blind eye while the government took the control out of our hands. Writing is one of the ways I partner with the schools to help our children develop their learning skills. We can all work together.
