Loretta Emmons has been rescuing pets since 1979. Realizing that rescue and rehoming was simply not doing enough, she opened Heartsong Spay Neuter Clinic. WIthin 4 years, she has opened 3 clinics with more on the horizon.
With good friend and fellow rescuer, Margie Maccario, Wheels of Hope Humane Society, Inc was born. The concept is a mobile unit used to spay/neuter pets in outlying areas, as well as transporting to adoption events.
