“When Hell Freezes Over” is a short story about Rai Seraph and her journey to restore Hell. For years and years Hell and Heaven waged war. Eventually the war ended when the power source of Hell, the Hell Crystal was destroyed by the Angel King, Seraph. His only child, a young woman named Rai, betrays him and begins her journey to restore Hell with the last shard of the Hell Crystal in her pocket. Along her journey she will encounter allies, enemies, (guess which one she’ll find more of?!) and many trials.

Barron Detor is fourteen year old, self-proclaimed goofy writer at Takoma Park Middle School. "Hell Freezes Over" is his first short story that he wrote for an assignment in Ms. Jennifer's English class. This work has inspired to go on to write more short stories that may or may not be published in the future!
