This book is about my experiences of traveling having a disability and the honor of bringing my friends with me who also have intellectual and physical challenges.
Our Theme is: We do not focus on our disability, nut our abilities and overcome barriers so we can have fun too.

My name is Tiffany Turner. I am 33 years old. I was born with a neurological deficiency syndrome, which resulted in being labeled with mental retardation. It may have been a case of me being a pre-mature baby and not fully developing, it could have been Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, or high risk delivery. That is what the doctors said. It is not what God said. I know that He has given me the joy and happiness that overlooks my outside appearance.
Reflecting over my years growing up, I would not trade them in even if I could. Even though I may have had challenges, I use them as stepping stones in life and realize it is all part of my journey.
As a young child, I can remember my family always going on trips and allowing me to attempt and do the same activities as my sister and my cousins. Since we were all close in age, my mom would ask 2 relatives to go with us so I and my sister would have partners for most of the events we attended. We traveled a lot of places in the United States,..
