This is the final volume of the 4-Part series: "Recollections of General Vladimir Voeikov". The writer recounts his arrest and 7 month imprisonment,in the Trubetskoi Bastion of the Peter and Pail Fortress, his stay in an insane asylum in Petrograd, the circuitous escape, which takes him to Romania, Austria, Germany, Denmark, and Finland. Most intriguing is the letter his wife, Nini, received from from Alexandra Feodorovna in Tobolsk (first time published), the refusal of Empress Maria Feodorovna to see him, and the many false rumors and slanders circulating about him.
