About the Book

In this true-life story find out just what the life of a child just like you used to live and how much lives of children have change over time! Children used to be treated very harshly. They worked long, long hours for days at a time. Many were hurt because of dangerous working conditions unsuitable for children. Some kids lost there arms, fingers, or were hurt in other ways. These conditions were terrible. This led to a movement making it illegal to work kids under certain ages and for too long amounts of time. The Keating-Owen Child Labor Act put an end to this quickly.
