Samantha Laux was a young enthusiastic children’s author. In 2006, Sam discovered she was born with a neurological condition that has rendered her deaf, legally blind and bound to a wheelchair. This has not deterred Sam from her dreams. Sam graduated from Clear Fork High school in 2007 and attended Wright State University.
Sam passed away June 18, 2012 but her dream lives in through her books.
Samantha was creative and used her talents to write inspirational children’s books. She lived on a farm in Ohio with her family and many of the animal characters from her books.
Samantha’s goal was to create fun and educational non-fiction children literature. First in the Working Animal Series, is It’s a Dog’s Job, a story about her service dog, Dylan. The second in the series is Missy, the Domestic Diva about a chicken that works at a bird sanctuary. This book, “Working Side-by-Side” is the third book of this series.
