I didn't think our type of love was possible. It was in romance novels and Nicolas Sparks movies. Then I met you. Quickly I discovered how two people could just FIT. It was like two perfect puzzle pieces just meant to be. You became my best friend. You became my adventure mate. You became my lifeline. We opened our hearts and lived passionately and loved vulnerably. Our souls were connected on a level not known by many.

Then came that tragic day. It was too soon. We had plans. We had pinkie promised. Was it all too good to be true? Were you given to me for a purpose yet forever was not written in the stars for us? I will never know what could have been. However I am deeply grateful for what was. You were everything to me. You made me a better human and our love was electric!! The grief is deep and ugly but the unconditional love we shared makes it worthwhile. Our memories are a blessing. And one day, when my mission is done, we will be together again. Pinkies.
