These writings are the expressed thoughts of LaShae, a teenage high school graduate. During her personal development, she realized that her life would have been different had God not put special people in her path. LaShae shares some of her most personal thoughts in this book. Also, she acknowledges, thanks, and dedicates this book to everyone that assisted in her achieving her personal, spiritual, and academic goals.

I am LaShae. I am a writer, actress, friend, activist, community leader, role model, sister, daughter, niece, and student. Over the past eighteen years of my life, I have become more disciplined and mature. I’ve developed a greater appreciation for my educational journey.
I have written this book to help me to continue my education. I know with your help and support, I can attend college and achieve my aspirations in the political field. This book presents some of my original prose and proverbs that I have written during my last two years of high school. When I wrote these pieces, I hoped that one day someone would be encouraged by these words.
