Greg O. Perenich was blessed to have been born and raised in a loving and affirming Catholic family in the Clearwater, Florida area. From a very early age, he showed a precocious imagination and charismatic personality, which was expressed through his composition and performance of poetry, prayers, and piano music in elementary and middle school. In his teenage years, Greg “lost his way” in an restless yet fruitless search for popularity and pleasure, only to find his faith and indeed, himself again later on, through prayer, friendships, and the sacraments...even becoming a daily Mass-goer in college!

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Neurosience, Greg decided to pursue ministry and mission work. Though his ultimate desire is to become a Franciscan Friar and even, God-willing, a Catholic priest, Greg is currently earning his Master’s of Education and will be teaching both Biology and his passion, Theology, at St. Michael’s Catholic High..
