How to Save Your File as a PDF
PDF keeps your page layout, fonts, and images in place—making it the best way to prepare a document, presentation, or design for printing with Bookemon.
Save a Microsoft Word Document as PDF
Use Word’s built-in export option to preserve the layout of your document.
Choose Save As
Select File then Save As, and choose where you want to save the PDF.
Select PDF
Choose PDF from the file format menu, then select Save.
For best print results, use the same page size in Word that you want for your finished book.
Save a PowerPoint Presentation as PDF
Export slides to PDF when you want the presentation layout to remain fixed.
Open your presentation
Check every slide for final text, images, and slide order.
Export the file
Select File, then Export or Save As.
Create the PDF
Select Create PDF/XPS or choose PDF as the file type, then publish or save.
Save Google Docs as PDF
Download a PDF copy directly from Google Docs.
Open the document
Make sure the document is fully loaded and your final changes are saved.
Open Download
Select File, then move to Download.
Choose PDF Document
Select PDF Document (.pdf). The PDF will download to your computer.
Save a Canva Design as PDF
Use Canva’s PDF Print download option for the highest quality printable file.
Open your design
Confirm the page order, margins, and all final design details.
Select Share
Choose Share, then select Download.
Choose PDF Print
Set the file type to PDF Print, choose the pages you need, and download.
Export Adobe InDesign as PDF
Export a high-quality PDF from InDesign after checking bleed and page setup.
Review the document
Check page size, page order, linked images, and any required bleed.
Choose Adobe PDF
Select File, Export, then choose Adobe PDF (Print).
Export your PDF
Choose an appropriate print-quality preset, then select Export.
Save Apple Pages as PDF
Export a PDF from Pages before uploading it to Bookemon.
Open your document
Review your Pages document and make all final edits.
Choose Export To
Select File, then Export To, and choose PDF.
Save the PDF
Choose the image quality you prefer, select Next, then save the file.

A quick final check helps ensure your printed book looks exactly the way you expect.
Check Page Size
Make sure the PDF page size matches the book size you want to print.
Review Every Page
Open the PDF and check page order, margins, and that no content is cut off.
Upload Your PDF
Once everything looks right, upload the PDF to start your Bookemon project.
