About Me

Bart Williams (or Mr. Bart to his many young fans) spent the last 27 years of his life as the Guidance Counselor for Dyersburg Intermediate School in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Mr. Bart’s dedication and devotion to his students over the years was clearly evident to anyone that knew him. Of his many interests, Mr. Bart was passionate about writing and travel. He combined these pursuits in his “Felix the Wonderboy” series of three adventures. These books have been published so that they can be enjoyed for years to come. The Bart Williams Collection in the Dyersburg Intermediate School Library is dedicated to honoring this amazing man and his commitment to supporting his family, students and community. Though he is definitely missed, his legacy lives on through Felix and his adventures.
