Melynda von Wayward is an Artiste based in Melbourne, Australia,
She holds a BA in Dramatic Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts and a Grad Dip in Arts Management from the University of Melbourne.
Melynda has been part of the professional Australian arts and cultural sector for over 20 years and has worked in many different capacities.
Melynda von Wayward is the project creator of a website called Punk Journey - The History of the Melbourne Punk Scene (1977-1987).
She has self-published a photographic book titled Punk a Photography Journey: 2004 - 2007' that captures and celebrates the colour, style and attitude of the contemporary Melbourne punk scene.
Melynda is a singer/songwriter who creates music that is DIY. EDGY. ORIGINAL.
All her music is available to download via Bandcamp under her moniker ‘The Wayward Woman’.
