Alexandra Smith was born in the tiny cold town of Boone, North Carolina. She grew up writing all of her wonderful thoughts and dreams down on paper. She also grew up with a love for music and her instrument, the piano. She hopes this book inspires children to find themselves through music as her favorite composer, Frederic Chopin, did.
