About Author:
Born in Los Angeles, CA. to artistic parents, literature and music were always in Paige’s life. At the encouragement of her mother and father she took piano and voice lessons, wrote poetry, played sports, and dazzled audience after audience with her theatrical talents. At the age of 13, Paige visited Australia where she participated in Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play “The Skin of Our Teeth” performing and singing in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. Paige attended North Carolina Central majoring in Theater with her focus set on directing. She began to spread her wings in the theatrical department and was involved in every performance. When not on stage, she worked behind the scenes stage managing, writing and directing. Paige traveled the East Coast in the touring choir soaking up everything she could, becoming one of the most acclaimed talents in the region. She sang at several private parties and restaurants in the Raleigh Durham area and in April of 1995 was asked to sing the National Anthem in a private skybox at the opening of the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Her acting and musical talents were recognized with several awards including the Irene Ryan award for best actress in “Joe Turner Come and Gone” and first place awards in several local singing contests.
Having earned her BA degree in Dramatic Literature, Paige returned home to California to pursue a career working with youth and focus on her dream of becoming a published author. “I’m hoping my writing will resonate with readers and critics resulting in positive reviews,” says Paige.
