Joyce Brown is the proud mother of two daughters, Miranda Curtis and Makayla Curtis. On November 11, 2011, Makayla Curtis died at the age of 10. During her short life, Makayla managed to conquer many growing opportunities; model love and compassion; exhibit courage and a powerful embracing of life; and leave the world a more loving place. The book is to honour the life of Makayla and to share inspirational stories of the loving relationships Makayla participated in. Hopefully, it will assist others who are grieving too.
