Karen Strong is a 41 year old woman residing in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two children. She was born and raised in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada and resided in the provinces of Manitoba and Ontario until 1997 when she was posted to Halifax with the Canadian Forces. Upon her medical release in October 2004, Karen decided to settle in Nova Scotia permanently. This is her story for many of the years that she has lived on the East Coast of Canada.
