Michelle Iafe is a Health and Human Sciences undergraduate student at Loyola Marymount University. Her interest in studying the science of the human body sparked when she began working with people with disabilities. She found that an understanding of the body allows for greater care and adaptive aid to help mobilize and empower people. This inspires her to pursue a career in the health field. This book is a reflection and presentation of her current studies of the human body to understand its structure and function. She hopes to share her experience, impart some knowledge, and most of all to inspire an interest in learning about the human body to help improve the health and well-being of people.
