David Dedi is an an Anthropologist, Historian, Author and Poet. He is a son of South Sudan. His other works include a collection of poetry and short stories called Borrowing Fire and a children's book, Mummy Water.

He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, with a major in Anthropology and History and the initiator of RadioNilo.com, an online portal dedicated to urban youth entertainment.
