ShayReese, an aspiring thriller writer, started branding her name as a Plus Size Model in DC Glamour Plus Group, Washington DC in April 2012. She decided to start branding her alter-ego name by processing her poet-spoken word talent into fiction novels maximizing the objective that:

Having an enterpreuning opportunity to submit her writing samples to Color Me Curvy Magazine, a magazine dedicated to connecting Plus Size Women with living healthy lifestyles, culture of fashion, hair, cooking, and arts/literature; the results were an invitation to promote her first novel debut, HORIZONS.
