John D. Ellis graduated from Syracuse University in 2012 with a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy. John clinically practices part-time with LDS Family Services and Sequoia Family Therapy Services LLC. John and Rachelle celebrated seven years of marriage on June 23, 2013. They thoroughly enjoy their two beautiful children Eli (4) and Lucy (2). Rachelle is a doula; providing emotional, spiritual and physical support for birthing mothers. The contents of this book are practiced in their home to the best of their ability. The principles and process described have shown to create greater resiliency, emotional intelligence and resolve distressing and impairing symptomology in children. The parent child relationship is then a safer secure attachment in which the child can proceed to develop autonomously. John has been influenced by many theories and research. John acknowledges that the contents of this book are a product of his clinical training;especially that of play therapy.
