Peggy Ruh has always had animals in her life from the time she had Tootsie the Bird and on through a number of dogs.

Sammy The Lhasa Apso took her on a track of learning more about how dogs interact with humans. During that time Helen Cordell became friends with her and introduced her to first Maddie the breeder dog. A Cinderella Story if ever there was one. From there she met Mishka, her little Minnie Mouse who had the spirit of someone much older and wiser.

On July 3, 2009 Peggy took home Mr. Benjamin Franklin. He was named after one of our forefathers since his "gotcha day" was so close to the Fourth of July.

This book tells of the travels of "Frankie Two Paws and all the people that have helped him get to where he is today.
