Rachel Nelson has been teaching at Honey Grove ISD for 19 years now. She taught English to grades nine through 12 and then migrated to technology full-time. However, this year she was challenged with teaching two sections of eighth grade language arts.

In addition to teaching, Rachel is a single mother to a sophomore in college and a freshman in high school. She is also the varsity cheer coach, an academic UIL coach, the band boosters president, and the yearbook adviser.
