Wendy Bouchoux was born in Plainfield, NJ, and grew up in Colonia, NJ, where she was graduated from Colonia High School in 1979.
She then attended Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ, on a part-time basis. In 1988 Ms. Bouchoux was one of the founding members of the Unlimited Potential Theater Company, part of Very Special Arts (now VSA Arts) New Jersey. This organization provides opportunities for people with and without disabilities to take part in workshops in theater, creative writing, and other arts.
