Susan Cox's maternal grandfather is from Czechoslovakia and she grew up learning about the Czech culture, eating kolaches and dumplings, and trying to decipher her grandparent's Czech expressions. She is the mom of two grown daughters who both love to travel and learn about other cultures. She lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband and their three rescue dogs. She and service dog Beryl love to read to grade schoolers every week at their neighborhood school.
