I am a 1970 graduate of Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia. I received a Master's in 1982 from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, North Carolina.







I am the only girl of four children, and have truely enjoyed the role of being the only girl.







I was borned in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvia and spent most of my life in Java, Virgina where my mother still resides.







I was inspired to write poems after my father's death on October 13, 1991.







I have spent most of my adult life teaching. I retired from teaching on July 1, 2006.







I current teach computer classes at my church.
