Rebecca Ann Barnett was born in Newcastle. She has completed four university degrees, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) – The University of Sydney; Graduate Diploma in Psychology – Macquarie University, Sydney Australia; Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology – Monash University, Melbourne Australia; Doctor of Clinical Psychology – The University of Newcastle.



Rebecca has worked across a variety of settings, as both an Occupational Therapist and a Psychologist. Her main areas of expertise are in adult and child and adolescent mental health. She is highly respected by other health professionals and, in fact, is seen as her own self-contained multi-disciplinary team. Rebecca currently works as an Occupational Therapist in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.



Rebecca is a chronic over-achiever, who enjoys travelling, socialising, excessively exercising, cooking, and spending time with her furry feline companion Leo. She has a keen interest in Bollywood weddings, and hot chips.
