I grew up as a truck drivers daughter and money was tight at times, so mom would pull out what ever was on hand and throw something together.We would ask whats for supper and she would look at us and say mommy surprise.well years later all grown up and married with children of my own, we still have those nights and i think about what my mom would do and find myself doing the same thing a times, when my kids ask me whats for dinner, i simply say mommy surprise. Now i don't have my mom's recipes and wish i had some of them,so i will make sure i can pass on some of mine to my children.As a nursing assistant it's hard finding the time to make dinner so i rely on these's a lot, hope you enjoy them to.
