This is a poetic rendition of the twenty-four days before Christmas. Key figures from the creche travel through a home gradually arriving at the manger to worship the young King. It can serve as an object lesson, a visual of the events leading up to the birth of Christ.

Elvera M. Rexroth-Reese grew up writing. She started putting words to paper in her first "mystery novelette" in the 8th grade. Since then, there have been numerous poems and childrens' books. In 2008, her first book, "Luminar," was published. Deep down, poetry remains perhaps her favorite venue.
