There is much, much more offered for the member and spouse on the standard plan, including motor vehicle protection for any ticket, accident, or other type of moving violation, 50 hours of protection in the event of an IRS audit, unlimited consultation with a great team of attorneys at your provider law firm - that is right - unlimited consultation, on an unlimited number of subjects - the attorney will write a letter, or make a phone call on your behalf (whichever makes more sense to the attorney to benefit the member), and the attorney will review legal documents, mortgages, cell phone contracts, employment contracts, leases, and other everyday things that all people deal with without the benefit of a great attorney team.
Instead of paying an attorney $300 per hour, you pay your .87 per day - $26.95 per month, and you also receive - 24/7 access to an attorney if you or spouse are ever detained by law enforcement after regular business hours.
Members receive a toll-free number of their attorney firm in their area as soon as they enroll. You can enroll anywhere in the U.S., and parts of Canada - all by calling Jerry Seitz - 210-324-9651 and enrolling online and on the phone. We will walk through your questions, and get you signed up. You will have immediate access to your attorney team at this point, and the only part of the plan that has a waiting period is for the motor vehicle coverage - 15 day waiting period after enrollment. All other parts of the plan you may access immediately as a member of PPL.
If you choose the expanded family plan vs. the standard plan - now member and spouse, plus children are covered. If you have teen drivers, college-aged drivers - they are also covered on the motor vehicle plan - tickets, accidents, and other moving violations. Your children are covered in many more ways.
On either the standard or expanded family plan - covered members receive identity theft protection and restoration services. So, with the expanded family plan all members Social Secuity number are protected, and restored should any information become compromised. There are 5 types of identity theft. Most people only think of one or two types. The SSN of your children is now a target, and you won't find out about this compromise of important information for 10-15 years or more if it is not protected.
27,000 people per day are new victims of identity theft in the U.S. - there have been over 500,000,000 records
compromised since they began to keep these statistics only about 10 years ago.
PPL partners with Kroll Fraud Solutions - the world leader in identity theft protection and restoration. Other plans do not recover your compromised information once it is jeopardized. Other company plans only alert the victim to the problem like a smoke alarm. The PPL plan actually puts out the fire also - the information is restored after the fact - to a pre-incident status. The professional investigators from Kroll go to work for you as a member and your information is restored. Kroll also monitors your credit on an on-going basis, and alerts the member to any deviation on your record as a member.
When identity information is compromised, legal issues almost always result. Therefore, the team of PPL and Kroll provide a perfect combination of protection for all members. Everyone now needs this type of protection. It is not a matter of if, but when someone in your family will be the victim of identity theft in some way, shape, or form. It behooves us all to be protected. Take the initiative. This is no different than pre-paying for health insurance, auto insurance, hazard insurance, home insurance, mortgage insurance, or other types of insuance, and it is every bit as important as the other types. In Europe 80 f adults have this type of insurance, and it has been around for about 100 years. All citizens in North America now need this coverage as a part of their portfolio of coverages. Take action and get this..
Hello. I am glad that you are taking the time to look at this book. It is a resource that can help you to protect yourself, your spouse, and/or your family from any type of legal issue you may encounter in your life, and most people encounter legal issues that they are not aware of in their everyday lives.
We usually don't recognize the situation as a legal issue, because we are programmed to think that an attorney would be too expensive to call, or to put to work for you.
This book will explain to you that there are several different types of legal plans offered by Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., and these plans are tailor-made for different types of life circumstances (i.e. individuals, couples, families, small business owners, employee benefit in a small to medium sized company, etc.). There are plans for self-employed with up to 8 employees, a plan for a home-based business rider (coupled with an expanded family plan). The home-based business rider protects the home business entity. PPL has plans for the self-employed that protects the business entity, and small business plans for companies with 1-50 employees, and small business plans with companies of 51-99 employees. These also cover the business entity.
Then, there are plans for employee benefits. They are voluntary in nature, and at no cost to the company, but a great way to attract and retain quality employees for any business. Some businesses even pay for this employee plan as part of the fringe benefit package, although it is not a requirement that the business absorbs this expense.
So, with all these types of plans you can see that PPL is a consumer-friendly company. PPL is 39 years old, and is publicly traded. This means that there is regulation by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The company is an open book to the public, as well as the FTC.
PPL has never raised rates on membership for anyone that has enrolled in the past 39 years! Do you know of any company that has ever done that?
PPL is growing, although there is only a 2 enetration in the market for memberships. This means that at 2 e have reached a "critical mass" of people in North America --- the product is now "self-evident" to the masses, but it also means that at this point (2 enetration), companies generally begin to grow at a faster rate - the stock for PPL was $8.50 per share about 15 years ago, and is trading at $66 today in February of 2011.
PPL has 750 corporate employees, up from 75 employees at the corporate level in 1996. PPL has paid out $488 million to shareholders since 1999 in premiums. So, you can see that PPL is a solid company, and the future is very promising indeed.
This is important for our members - we have about 1.4 million members, and it is important for PPL associates that market PPL products and plans to the public.
You will be amazed at what is included in a standard plan for legal protection for an individual (with spouse also covered on the individual plan), and you will be more amazed at what is provided in the expanded family plan (covering member, member spouse, and family members).
When you really take a look at what is offered, you will wonder how PPL can afford to offer all of these benefits to the members. The reason why PPL can do this is our 1.4M members, and the fact that PPL has a network of provider law firms in North America. PPL is one of, if not the largest client of all of the provider law firms - PPL pays the network $1.6M per month in attorney fees, so that our members only have to pay .87 per day for full coverage on a standard plan for member and spouse - that is right - $26.95 per month - less than a tank of gas per month and you receive all of this coverage on your legal plan. Take a look at what you will receive:
- 60 hours of legal defense in year 1 of membership,
which will grow to 300 hours of legal defense by year
5 of the membership.
- A written will for member and spouse, and a living will
