An elven prince, raised by a small family of humans and a village who hate the elves, and are very aware that Alwyn is, indeed, an elf, grows up believing him to be an 'ordinary' elf. When his father, under the name of someone else, finds him and takes him to the capital where Alwyn, whether he wants to or not, will learn the truth.
