I am Thankful for...is a book created to show an appreciation for the natural world. Pictures within this book were taken in the Land Between the Lakes regions of Kentucky and Tennessee. The author believes God speaks to us through His natural environment and wants us to take the time to look and listen to His creation.

Vicky Collins is a middle school science teacher at Crittenden County Middle School in Marion, KY. She graduated from Murray State University in December, 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduating, she substitute taught for a semester and fell in love with teaching middle school students. While working fulltime, she went back to MSU to complete a middle school science extension. Currently, she is pursuing a graduate degree in Teacher Leadership with an endorsement in Environmental Education.
