About Author
No one is born an addict. A person’s environment, genetic predispositions, and exposure to trauma all play a role. My very dear closest and best friend died from this horrible disease called addiction.
It was during this most difficult time I began to
envision “Gerald’s House” where real
transformation can occur.
No one has to die from this horrible disease called addiction, my passion and love for my best friend and myself who have suffered from this disease, have been delivered from a hopeless state of mind.
I dedicate myself to helping others thru
The Herbert F. Ballard Foundation.
I would like to extend this opportunity to welcome you into our first location. I’ve been where you are. I’m glad you are here, and I look forward to your success in recovery.
Sincerely,
Malcolm Brown
