Hi my name is Anna! I am fortunate enough to be a sophomore at the most amazing school, Dartmouth College. Our strange quarter system and 10 week terms allow us to go abroad. This trip to Italy is my first term off and abroad!! I am leaving January 10th and will be adventuring Italy until March 22nd. In that time I will mainly be stationed in Parma and working for a Neuroscience Lab as a follow up to my internship this summer in the UMD Child Development Lab. I am so excited to challenge myself overseas in a completely new environment! I wanted to keep up somewhat of a blog to keep track of all my thoughts and the news things I try/ do!! :) PLUS A LOT OF FOOD PICS I AM SORRY.

This blog (and this book) is dedicated first and foremost to the Ferrari family who kindly took me in as their daughter throughout my time in Italy. My stay would not have been the same without them. By the end I felt absolutely comfortable at their house, mainly because they are as crazy as I am, so I could be myself. Their family reminds me a lot of my own, and being so warmly welcomed into their family kept me from getting very homesick and allowed me to fully enjoy Italy. I also want to dedicate this to my own family for allowing me to go on this trip and being such loyal (and possibly the only) blog readers.
