About the Book

17-year-old Maile would never get over her mother's tragic death. She always loved listening to a 60's rock band called "The Orkas" with her. Even when her mother was the same age, she got hit by a chair at an Orkas performance and the popular frontman of the band, Joe Ringson, helped her out. Maile would always think of that story and how Joe was misjudged by others. After she moves to Seattle with her Marine Biologist aunt, a mysterious baby orca whale rescues her from drowning in an undertow. Each day the whale would crave Maile's attention. She started to beileve that the whale she called Aqua, was the reincarnation of Joe Ringson. She'd go interact with him. Her aunt convinces her that he belongs in the wild. But Maile couldn't stop playing with him, Which made the whale an attraction. Even worse, a fisherman complained that he was a huge pest and he wanted to send Aqua to the Aquarium. As soon as the owners of the aquarium came to capture him, Maile tried to stop them. She wound up hitting one of the owners and she was thrown in juvenile detention! Now with help from a new friend, the adventure to freeing Aqua is about to begin!
