17 AVA Campers at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater worked together to create a book about themselves including their own writings, collaborative poetry, word art and other artistic renderings. All 17 of these individuals use Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) to help them communicate. They are strong and beautiful people who wanted to share their insights into what it is like to live with a communication impairment.
